We at Iustitia Assistans AB are looking for you who want to be our new addition as a personal assistant to a 9-year-old girl just outside Eskilstuna. The position is on an as-needed basis, such as during vacations or sick leave of regular assistants.

The person you will be working with is a lovely eight-year-old with extensive care needs. She wants someone who can help her dance in her wheelchair, sing, swing high, and have long conversations (which happen in her own way) between the daily parts of care. Nights involve constant monitoring to ensure her safety. She ALWAYS needs a person in her immediate vicinity.

She loves, and requires, closeness, as it makes her feel safe!

About You

You will be working in the home of a family, so it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful demeanor, and possess good empathetic abilities.

You must NOT be a smoker.

You will work according to a detailed implementation plan.

As an applicant, you should be loyal, flexible, and mature in your approach to various situations, both demanding and less demanding.

Since the client does not have a spoken language and finds it difficult to express herself, it is required that you are creative, attentive, and observant of small signals.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity.

Experience in personal assistance is a requirement, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh the heaviest.

You must be able to adapt your pedagogical approach to the individual.

A driver's license is not a requirement but is an advantage.
