JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks include everything related to the field of family law, such as custody, residence, and visitation investigations, adoption investigations, statements, investigations of paternity and parenthood, mediation talks, information talks, and more. Additionally, you will represent the board in court and be responsible for legally secure documentation, including journal notes.

The work is largely independent but also involves close collaboration with other caseworkers and management. In your role as a family law secretary, you will have contact with the individual, their relatives or legal representatives, as well as the surrounding network. The work also includes actively seeking information about new court rulings and using legal databases to stay updated on the legal situation. Furthermore, you will participate in our joint efforts for continuous improvements to simplify and clarify contact with us. We document in the operational system Treserva.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• a degree in social work or behavioral science with additional qualifications that meet the requirements for a social worker.
• good knowledge of legislation and public authority practice.
• the ability to express yourself clearly in spoken and written Swedish.
• basic IT skills.
• a valid driver's license with B category.

It is an advantage if you have:

• work experience in family law.
• experience in public authority practice in other areas of social services.
• separate systemic training.
• worked in the operational system Treserva.

As a person, you are interested in meeting people and have the ability to understand different situations from your professional role. You are confident and strong in yourself and have the ability to act calmly, composed, and independently in stressful situations. You structure your work independently and can prioritize among the tasks to be performed; furthermore, you are flexible and can manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.
