Support Educators Wanted for Group Homes in Ärla

Do you want to help create a meaningful and developing life for our users? We are now looking for two support educators for our two group homes in Ärla. Here, we work together to provide our users with the best possible daily life.

We are two group homes located a stone's throw from each other. The target group is adults with various disabilities who need both motivational and caregiving support. We have 10 users distributed across two homes. The team working in Ärla is a wonderful group with diverse skills and a strong user focus. The LSS legislation forms the basis for our work, and we ensure that individuals receive the right support to create as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support educator, you will have the opportunity to shape your own role and contribute to the development of the workplace while working in the organization to motivate and support users with their daily activities. This includes everything from personal care to social interventions. You will work both supportively and with practical tasks in the users' daily lives. The work also involves collaboration with others, including the user's personal network and licensed professionals such as nurses and occupational therapists. You will work in a structured and individualized manner. The work includes social documentation and developing implementation plans and work plans to ensure a common approach where the user is at the center. We operate based on a pedagogical approach (PFA) and evidence-based practice (EBP).

Another important task is to support and guide your colleagues with a coaching, engaging, and inclusive approach. You are driven, curious, and work to develop and adapt the organization based on evidence-based methods. With your ability to shift perspectives from individual level to a holistic view in our organization, you work closely with team leaders and unit managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have an education as a support educator or another qualification that we consider equivalent. We want you to have experience working with individuals in the disability field, such as from LSS, social psychiatry, or personal assistance. You can take delegation. Since we work with PFA, AAC, and EBP, it is advantageous if you have knowledge or experience in these methods.

It is important that you can reach our workplace in Ärla, as local transport is not always reliable.
