Job Coach for Källan DV

Unit 4 is expanding its operations, and Källan is a brand new day activity center that opened in the autumn of 2025 on Gårdskälsgatan in Skiftinge. The service is aimed at users within both SoL and LSS with various types of disabilities and cognitive abilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a job coach, you provide individualized support and guidance to individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities within day activities. You contribute to creating a structured and meaningful everyday life by adapting activities and tasks according to each individual's needs and interests. Daily tasks vary and may include music, movement, outdoor work, creative activities, care, and training in social skills. Work takes place both indoors, outdoors, and in nearby environments.

You view development and improvement of the service as natural parts of your work, where you support and guide the users, both in groups and individually. Contact and collaboration responsibility for the users is included, as well as social documentation in the form of action notes and following up, and writing implementation plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed and approved high school education, preferably as a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or teaching assistant. You have at least two years of relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual, physical, and/or mental disabilities. You are accustomed to using IT and documenting. It is a plus if you have training in PFA (pedagogical approach and working method) and EBP (evidence-based practice) and experience using these methods in practice.

You should also have experience working with individuals exhibiting challenging behavior and those who communicate using alternative communication methods. Since heavy tasks and physical activity are involved, we expect you to have good physical ability and preferably a B driver's license for transportation to outings and similar activities.

You are passionate about creating a meaningful everyday life for others and are flexible based on the users' needs. To succeed in this role, we see that you have a holistic perspective, are confident in meeting people with various difficulties, and have a coaching approach.
