HVB Sörmlandshem is a treatment-oriented residential care home with five places for boys aged 13–17 years. The operation is staff-intensive and provides structured round-the-clock care with a focus on everyday treatment, motivation, and relationship work. The accommodation is located in a quiet, rural environment outside Julita, between Katrineholm, Vingåker, and Eskilstuna.

Job Responsibilities

As a treatment staff member at HVB Sörmlandshem, you will work closely with the youth in their daily lives. The responsibilities include, among other things:

• working as a contact person
• supporting youth in daily routines, social development, and structure
• conducting motivational work and relationship-building activities
• participating in daily activities, physical activities, and leisure
• documenting and following up on interventions according to applicable routines

The treatment work is integrated into daily life and continues throughout the work shift.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education as a social educator, treatment educator, or leisure educator
• Experience working with youth in need of support and structure
• Experience in documentation/record-keeping
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• CBT - Treatment Therapist / Addiction Therapist
• Experience working in residential care homes
• Knowledge in TMO, ICDP, MI
• Experience from youth centers, schools, or as a teaching assistant

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in the adult role, has good collaboration skills, and enjoys structured and relationship-focused work. You are responsible, patient, and can work both independently and in a team.

Working Hours

The work is scheduled and includes afternoon/evening shifts as well as on-call duties. Evenings, nights, and weekends are included.

Other

The workplace is located in a rural area with limited communication options. A driver's license is therefore a requirement.
