We are now looking for attentive, empathetic, and committed personal assistants for a man in his 40s who is completely paralyzed from the chin down after a car accident. The customer lives in a quiet residential area in Nyköping.

The customer is fully communicative, expresses his needs himself, and is clear about how he wants his daily life to function. As an assistant, you work closely with the customer, follow his instructions, and provide support in all areas of daily life. The chemistry and cooperation between the customer and assistants are crucial for a well-functioning daily life.

About the Position

In the role of personal assistant, you will help the customer with, among other things:

• Personal care
• Dressing and undressing
• Transfers with a ceiling lift
• Catheter management (introduction and training provided)
• Training and daily routines at home
• Household chores

Double assistance occurs at parts of the day. The work requires security, precision, and good collaboration skills.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Attentive and empathetic – you can listen, show understanding, and have good empathy
• Adaptable and social – you are easy-going, social, and can adapt to different situations
• Interested and a team player – you have the desire to learn, take responsibility, and work well in a group
• Confident in yourself and comfortable working closely with the customer and following clear instructions
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have a B driver's license and the ability to get to the workplace in Nyköping

Previous experience in personal assistance, care, and knowledge of lifts and catheters is an advantage but not a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours

The positions are full-time or part-time and include day, evening, and weekend shifts according to a rotating schedule. Temporary substitutes are also sought.
