Counselor for the Dependency Reception Road

Do you have experience in counseling and want to support individuals with risky use, addiction, and dependency to improve their quality of life? We are looking for a counselor for the Dependency Reception Road.

We target individuals aged 18 and older who need counseling for issues related to alcohol, drugs, medications, doping, or gambling. Our team consists of nine counselors and one team leader, all working to provide individuals with knowledge about the development of addiction and its consequences, as well as support and treatment to overcome their dependency. We also work to support relatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will conduct sessions with individuals based on evidence-based methods, such as MI, CBT, ÅP, CRA, and HAP. You will work independently with individual sessions and lead group treatments, sometimes alongside other counselors. You will write individual implementation plans and be responsible for their regular follow-up. You will also provide guidance and supervision to other workgroups that meet individuals we support.

We have close collaboration with other professionals within the social services, external actors in the community, and the individual's network. We encourage innovative thinking, and you are free to bring ideas and try new working methods. We practice active employee engagement, sharing knowledge and learning from each other.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have completed education as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent. You have at least one year of experience in counseling or experience with the target group of addiction and comorbidity. If you are trained and have worked with some of the following methods: CBT orientation course, CBT step 1, CRA, MI, HAP, ÅP, ASI, it is a plus.

You are secure and stable in yourself and have an easy time understanding and responding to other people's feelings with your professional approach. You have a positive attitude and the ability to see opportunities, even in challenging situations.
