Care Assistant and Housing Support Worker Wanted!

To thrive in your role, you need to be curious, flexible, and inventive. You have no problem following given instructions while easily finding solutions and taking your own initiatives when needed.

You who are applying are/have:

• experience with disabilities in children, youth, and/or adults
• basic computer and documentation skills
• good at expressing yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you also have:

• some form of completed or started educational, support pedagogical, social pedagogical, social work, and/or healthcare education
• a B driver's license

We are now looking for extra and summer substitutes for three of our operations.

YOUR ROLE AS A CARE ASSISTANT AT SHORT-TERM STAY LSS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

At our short-term stay Rubinen LSS, you work with the individual at the center. Here, our children and young people have the opportunity for recreation, social interaction, and support based on their individual needs. Activities and cooking are planned together with the children/youth according to their wishes. We stay active and also use digital tools as part of the operation. Here, the children/youth also stay overnight, and you are involved in bedtime routines and a nice ending to the day. Together with our children/youth, you get to use your communicative skills and your calm, pleasant demeanor.

YOUR ROLE AS A HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER IN ORDINARY HOUSING SoL

When you work as a housing support worker within neuropsychiatry and social psychiatry in ordinary housing, you work directly with the user in and outside their home. Here, you encounter all aspects of life, and with the individual at the center, you provide services that the user has been granted support for. This may include planning and structuring everyday life together with the user, including shopping lists, cleaning, cooking, support in contacts, and outdoor activities often in the form of walks. Here, you get to be an active and empathetic listener. The work is flexible, and you will work alongside experienced colleagues who all operate from a nice apartment where our bikes and cars are also available. A bonus is that you are guaranteed to get good everyday exercise.

YOUR ROLE AS A HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER IN SERVICE HOUSING LSS

When you work at one of our service housing LSS in Trosa municipality, you truly make a difference. Here, you encounter all aspects of life, and with the individual at the center, you help people with various types of needs in different conditions. The tasks involve supporting our users in various parts of everyday life, such as planning and structuring everything from shopping lists, cleaning, cooking, and community contacts together with the user. In our communal apartments, we have social gatherings, and we also do joint activities outside the housing.

Here, we support and help each other in the team to create a meaningful everyday life for our users and a pleasant working environment for all of us who work here. The colleagues are experienced, and the cohesion is strong. The work includes sleeping on-call shifts.
