About British Junior

We are a dynamic school from preschool to grade 9 with approximately 900 students. We constantly renew and develop our pedagogical methods, always focusing on the individual student's knowledge and development. British Junior is primarily a knowledge school, but our educators also teach children the full meaning of empathy, social interaction, understanding of other cultures, and discipline. We teach students that respect, understanding, acceptance, and cooperation are the keys to long-term success.

About You

We are looking for a qualified social pedagogue/safety pedagogue who wants to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and developing school environment where students are given good opportunities to succeed both socially and academically. You have a strong commitment to students' well-being and learning and thrive in a role where you collaborate closely with colleagues, students, and guardians. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships and are confident in meeting students in various situations. The role includes preventive and promotional work where you may enter classes and work with conflict management, group processes, and social interaction as needed. The aim is to strengthen safety in student groups, contribute to a conducive learning environment, and create good conditions for learning both in the classroom and during breaks. During parts of the day, you may also contribute to the after-school program.
