About Us

Dammsdalskolan in Vingåker is a national boarding school specializing in children and adolescents within the autism spectrum. At Dammsdalskolan, there is room for 25-27 students aged 12 to 21. We offer a comprehensive solution with school and accommodation within the framework of four school forms: primary school/adapted primary school and upper secondary school/adapted upper secondary school.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants a stimulating job with varied and interesting tasks. You should enjoy working with people, be flexible, unpretentious, and have good collaboration skills. You are an active person who works to create a stimulating and developing environment where the students are at the center. As staff with us, you are a role model for the students in all situations. You are active and mobile and participate with the students in physical activities as well as in sedentary activities. You are interested, clear, and have a low-arousal approach.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a 3-year upper secondary education focused on child and leisure, health and care program, or equivalent education. You have a B driver's license. You express yourself well in speech and writing.
Meritorious: Higher education considered relevant to our operations. Courses focused on autism, structured pedagogy, or behavioral science as well as practical experience. A criminal record extract will be required upon possible employment.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Summer substitute from June 15 to August 16.
