The Education Division is responsible for 31 preschools divided into four areas. Within the division, there are also 17 after-school centers associated with our primary schools. We continuously work to ensure that children and students in our operations have a meaningful and safe stay, and you as a substitute are important. Our substitute staffing is an organization that should be able to meet the needs of the units while also providing a safe workplace for you. The substitute staffing is a crucial piece in the work towards a fair operation of high quality, and we are now looking for more hourly substitutes who want to be part of this work and who are available for longer or shorter substitute assignments from now until the spring term of 2027.

You will be part of a team with several hourly substitutes who substitute in the municipality's preschools and after-school centers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a substitute in the preschool and after-school center, you will assist the regular staff in their daily work. You may be booked at preschools throughout Nyköping municipality and need to be able to travel by bus or your own car to the preschools in rural areas. You may sometimes be booked at short notice, so it is important that you are available and flexible. You report to the supervisor of the substitute staffing, who can also support you if you have questions about your work. When you work in the operations, the staff on site will primarily be your contact. The work is often challenging, so you need to be open to these challenges, be active and present in your work, while also not being afraid to take responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma. You who apply should have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. We place great importance on personal suitability, where your attitude is extremely important. You should be engaged in working with children and students where relationships are central, and you should be curious, eager to learn new things, and have a good ability to take responsibility.

If you have previous experience working in preschools or after-school centers, it is a merit, but even if you do not have much experience, you are welcome to apply.

We are looking for someone who can work extensively, at least about 75% but preferably more.

It is a merit if you have:

• Childcare education or comparable adult education
• B driver's license
• Experience working in preschool and/or after-school centers
