RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of social pedagogue, you will have the following tasks:

  • Daily work with attendance and absence, including follow-up and collaboration with guardians and external actors as needed.
  • Investigation of bullying and documentation and follow-up according to applicable routines.
  • Implementation and follow-up of class councils and student councils aimed at strengthening students' participation and influence.
  • Coordination and development of the playground supervisor activities, such as creating schedules with activities, implementing, and evaluating.
  • Part of the day may involve working with the after-school program to support the transition between school and leisure.

We organize our resources based on different intervention periods of 6-8 weeks or per term based on both academic and social needs that arise. As a social pedagogue, you may also receive specific assignments and areas of responsibility beyond the above. This means that flexibility is an important part of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A completed education as a social pedagogue.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
  • Good ability to use digital tools to support the work, e.g., Word, Outlook, Teams.
  • Several years of experience working as a social pedagogue. It is particularly meritorious if your experience comes from primary school.
  • Good experience working with children/youth who have individual needs due to, for example, neuropsychiatric disabilities or other complex difficulties.
  • A valid driver's license (B).

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Language skills in languages other than Swedish and English.
  • Previous experience working in primary school.
