Mo Gård is looking for new employees for our units in Nyköping.

About the role

You will work at one of our LSS accommodations in Nyköping, which are Svalsta, Växthusgränd, and Berguven.

With us, we communicate using sign language or adapted communication methods based on the individual's needs. Your task is to support the individual in their daily life and assist based on their personal interests, wishes, and conditions. You provide support in daily activities based on a pedagogical approach. Daily tasks include support and guidance in personal care, meals, medication management, hygiene routines, and support in social activities. You will be part of an engaged workgroup where you work together to ensure that each individual has a meaningful occupation and daily life.

Who are you?

We prefer that you have completed upper secondary education in the health and care program or the child and leisure program. If you have relevant post-secondary education as a support educator and experience working within LSS, you are also welcome to apply for the position.

Experience in similar tasks, especially within LSS operations, is highly meritorious and will be valued in the recruitment process.

Knowledge of sign language and a good understanding of various disabilities is particularly meritorious. We see it as a great advantage if you have previously worked with the target group and feel comfortable working in a low-arousal and structured manner.

You are an empathetic person who is engaged and outgoing, you find it easy to collaborate and create contacts while maintaining good relationships. You are adaptable to meet both the user's and the organization's needs and take initiative in your work. In our recruitment, we will place great importance on personal suitability.

Computer skills are required as documentation is a recurring task. You should be able to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, to meet the information needs that form the basis of your work.

Employment

Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.

Start date: As soon as possible by agreement

Working hours: Your working hours will follow a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends. On-call may occur if required by the operation in the future.

We apply individual salary setting. A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide a criminal record extract and that you have a Swedish work permit. In our recruitment process, applicants may undergo psychological tests.

A driving license (B) is required.

Recruitment will take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
