At the Torsbo short-term accommodation unit, we are looking for a brave and creative colleague to join our wonderful team. We seek someone who enjoys a varied workday where no day is the same and where creativity can flow.

YOUR TASKS

As a support assistant at Torsbo, your primary mission is to create a meaningful and creative stay for children and young people with disabilities, based on their individual conditions and interests. Your role involves preparing, adapting, and clarifying various activities to suit each individual. You contribute to creating an inclusive and stimulating environment every day.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU NEED:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing and the ability to communicate clearly.
• Good computer skills are necessary to meet our documentation requirements.
• Education in care, child, or leisure pedagogy, at least at the high school level.

WHAT WE VALUE HIGHLY

• Working with low-arousal responses in the target group of children and young people.
• Education or practical experience in clarifying pedagogy, autism, and challenging behavior.
• Experience with AAC (alternative and augmentative communication).
• Knowledge in psychiatry and/or neuropsychiatry.
