Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

I am a cheerful and social 31-year-old looking for a dedicated personal assistant who wants to be an important part of my daily life.

You will be employed by my assistance company Vivida Assistans, but your work will be carried out wherever I am.

ABOUT ME

I live in a house outside Hölö with my family, who are a natural and present part of my daily life. We have both a dog and a cat at home, so it is important that you are not allergic to pets.

I have a CP injury and use a wheelchair, but I drive my electric wheelchair myself both indoors and outdoors.

The job involves supporting me in all aspects of daily life, such as personal hygiene, meals, transfers, and communication. There are heavier tasks involved, but you will receive training in lifting techniques.

The work is occasionally calm. Some days we are mostly at home, and it is important that you are comfortable with that, can take initiative, and come up with activities that suit my condition for the day. I enjoy playing games and going for walks. Other days I have more energy, and you need to be flexible and ready to do something fun. I am quick to join in when someone has a good suggestion!

Sometimes I struggle more with my body, and movements can become fast and erratic, meaning my arms and legs move a lot and things can get chaotic around me. This is not intentional, planned, or directed at anyone but is an expression of how my body feels that day. On such days, I need an assistant who can remain calm and create a sense of security.

WHO AM I LOOKING FOR?

I am looking for someone who:

• Is attentive, patient, and has the ability to read the day's condition and needs
• Is proactive and inventive
• Respects privacy as you work in my home where my family is present
• Has good physical fitness
• Is comfortable in both calm and intense situations and can handle the fact that the job sometimes involves a lot of time at home

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a personal car (no public transport available)
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Swim proficient
• Not allergic to dogs or cats

The most important thing is that the personal chemistry is right. I am a positive and easy-going person who appreciates humor and engagement.

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT DEGREE

We currently have a parental leave position of about 75%, but for the right person, there may be an opportunity for more hours. We are also looking for someone who wants to work extra as needed.

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends, both day and evening. It is desirable that you can occasionally work nights (on call).

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation compensation and any additional compensation. A collective agreement is in place.

START DATE

As soon as possible or by agreement.
