ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Oxelösund. We have several positions with varying scopes as well as temporary positions. It is a rolling 5-week schedule with positions ranging from 62.5 hours up to 93 hours. There is also a weekend position where you work 16 hours during one weekend every fifth week.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM weekdays

• 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM weekdays

• 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM weekends

• 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM weekends

Double staffing also occurs twice a week between 08:00 AM - 09:45 AM. These short shifts occur in all permanent positions.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman around 70 years old living with MS. She lives with her husband in a single-story house adapted to her needs. In her daily life, she uses an electric wheelchair that she drives herself. A shower chair and a ceiling lift are available in the home to assist with transfers. The client has a car that can be used for errands and activities.

The tasks are as follows:

• Assist with daily routines such as household chores

• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

• Cooking

The woman has a great interest in gardening and enjoys growing vegetables in her greenhouse. She likes flowers, planting, and taking care of them. She is social and appreciates going along on errands, activities, and outings, where you as an assistant are welcome to suggest what you can do together.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of others. Furthermore, you should be attentive, proactive, solution-oriented, and engaged. The position involves some lifting, which requires good physical ability. Personal suitability is of great importance. Our client prefers female assistants only.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Non-smoker

• Driving license B

• Ability to cook for the client

PREFERENCES

• Experience in care or equivalent

• Care education or equivalent

• Interest in gardening and/or cultivation

Employment rate: Varying depending on position or temporary position

Number of positions: 4 permanent positions

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
