HVB Sörmlandshem is a treatment-oriented residential care home with five places for boys aged 13–17. The operation is staff-intensive and provides structured 24-hour care with a focus on everyday treatment, motivation, and relational work. The facility is located in a quiet, rural environment outside Julita, between Katrineholm, Vingåker, and Eskilstuna.

Job Responsibilities

As treatment staff at HVB Sörmlandshem, you will work closely with the youths in their daily lives. Responsibilities include:

• acting as a key contact person
• supporting youths with daily routines, social development, and structure
• conducting motivational and relationship-building work
• participating in daily activities, physical exercise, and leisure time
• documenting and following up on interventions according to established procedures

Treatment work is integrated into daily life and continues throughout the entire shift.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or leisure pedagogue
• Experience working with youths in need of support and structure
• Experience with documentation and record-keeping
• Very good Swedish spoken and written
• Class B driver's license

Merits:

• CBT Therapist / Addiction Therapist
• Experience working in residential care homes (HVB)
• Knowledge of TMO, ICDP, MI
• Experience from youth centers, schools, or as a student assistant

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in an adult role, has good teamwork skills, and thrives in structured, relationship-focused work. You are responsible, patient, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours

Work is scheduled and includes afternoons/evenings as well as sleeping on-call duty. Evenings, nights, and weekends are required.

Other Information

The workplace is located in a rural area with limited public transport options. A driver's license is therefore a requirement.
