About the position

As a personal assistant, your most important task is to support the client in creating a safe, functional, and meaningful everyday life. The job requires you to be independent, responsible, and attentive to the individual's needs.

The client has Down syndrome and lives in a house with her parents but has her own apartment. She needs an assistant who is structured, confident in her role, and can follow clear routines.

Job Responsibilities

• Support during meals
• Cooking
• Personal care
• Support during transfers
• Motivate and support an active leisure time and meaningful occupation
• Follow fixed routines in daily life
• Medication management

Working hours and employment form

We are looking for one or more assistants for:

• Hourly employment/temp with a basic schedule
• Extra work as needed

The shifts are 24-hour shifts, including weekends.

• Is attentive, motivating, responsible, and positive
• Has a professional and respectful demeanor

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• No pet allergies
• Driver's license B
• Non-smoker

Meritorious

• Experience in care and medication management
• Experience working with both physical and cognitive disabilities
• Previous experience as a personal assistant
