Friskolan Asken is a school that has been in operation since the autumn of 2000. The school has 330 students in grades 4-9 and is located in the picturesque Sundby Park right next to Lake Mälaren. Friskolan Askens profile is to work according to the portfolio method, which aims to continuously follow up on students' knowledge development. The students are involved in the entire process, from planning to evaluation, each student becomes an expert in their own learning and is the obvious main character in the student-led development conversations.

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or behavioral scientist, preferably with further education in conversation methodology. Good knowledge and experience with children/youth with various NPF diagnoses is an advantage. You have a few years of work experience after your degree, preferably as a counselor. If you have experience working with youth, we see that as an additional plus.

You find it easy to collaborate with different professional categories while being independent and knowledgeable in your own field. The position requires high sensitivity and integrity.

We need a counselor for our student care team immediately.

It is important that you have the ability to see students' development opportunities and find ways to realize them. We want you to be development-oriented and have a strong commitment to your work with students. Good contacts with authorities outside the school are important in the work.

As a counselor, you will support and collaborate with the school's management and staff in student care work and offer your support in conflict/crisis situations and cases concerning bullying. You are an important cog in the school's Safety Team.
