Security Assistance Syd AB is an authorized security company headquartered in Malmö. We offer a complete range of security services such as stationary guarding, patrolling, response, and alarm center services.

Our operations are certified according to ISO 9001, SSF 136 (alarm center), and SSF 1063 (security companies).

We are now looking for alarm operators for on-call employment and vacation replacements for our alarm center in Malmö.

About the position

The alarm center operates 24/7, all year round. Working in an alarm center means being part of the core of the business, and you are one of our most important employees.

You will receive and manage alarm signals, video, fault reports, phone calls, and radio calls. Generally, you will be the first point of contact for customers, guards, police, and other authorities.

Your work includes receiving and relaying both alarm events and fault reports for our customers. You will come into contact with a large number of people via phone and other communication channels.

You will have various computer programs at your disposal to support your daily work, such as for managing alarm events, phone calls, and video surveillance.

You enjoy challenges and thrive in a varied job with many tasks to juggle. It is also an advantage if you speak multiple languages.

Basic requirements for your application to be considered:

• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, with good knowledge of English, as these languages are used daily in your work
• Able to work 12-hour shifts both day and night
• Very good computer skills
• No criminal record
• Orderly personal finances

Additional advantages:

• Previous experience in a service role, preferably with phone experience
• Previous shift work experience
• Previous experience in the security industry

Additional information

Employment at Security Assistance Syd AB requires approval from the County Administrative Board according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies. All personnel are assessed regarding legal compliance, civic reliability, and suitability. This means that information may be obtained from criminal and suspicion registers as well as from the Security Police.

Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required.

Salary and employment conditions are governed by a collective agreement between the Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
