We are now looking for a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main responsibilities and tasks

At Folktandvården Mölnlycke, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions
• Outreach dental care in nursing homes

We are a VFU clinic and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising/assisting students may also be part of the position.

Currently, we have a total of 26 employees, including 5 hygienists, 6 dentists, and 8 dental nurses.

Competence requirements and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to convey a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 5-6.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts background checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
