We are now looking for two dental nurses for the dental nurse pool in the Öster area – one located in Stöpen (Skövde) and one in Lidköping.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The dental nurse pool is a unit within Folktandvården Västra Götaland and is tasked with meeting the organization's need for temporary staff. The current position is located within the Öster area, primarily serving Mariestad, Skövde, Hjo, Karlsborg, Töreboda, Götene, Lidköping, Vara, and Tidaholm. Work may also occur in a larger geographical area.

You will be based at your home clinic, which is Stöpen in Skövde or Magasinsgatan in Lidköping. Travel compensation is provided, and the position also includes a salary supplement.

Working in the pool means varied working hours and places high demands on flexibility. It is a very rewarding job as you fill an urgent need for help at the clinic you are assigned to. The tasks include assistance, sterilization work, and receptionist duties. You will have the opportunity to utilize your full competence, as we treat patients of all ages. Work with FRAMM, prophylaxis, and your own patients is common.

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

Experience in the profession, previous work in pool operations, knowledge of T4, digital radiography, and receptionist work are advantageous. A B driver's license and access to a car are required.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. Interviews are planned to take place in weeks 5 and 6.
