We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

We at Folktandvården Mariestad are now looking for a dental nurse who wants to help us drive the clinic forward in a creative environment.

We are a large clinic with engaged and proactive employees, ensuring a rewarding and stimulating work environment together.

Folktandvården Mariestad has 16 treatment rooms and currently employs a total of 30 staff members, including 17 dental nurses, 5 dental hygienists, and 8 dentists. We have a very broad competence and extensive experience in complex treatments, from treating dental anxiety with nitrous oxide in a calm environment to advanced prosthetics. The clinic is also equipped with OPG equipment.

With us, you will meet patients with various care needs of all ages. Therefore, you will utilize your entire skill set, while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting dentists during examinations and treatments and working with examination sessions with dentists/dental hygienists.
• Possible work with your own patients in prophylactic treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments.
• Possible work in sterilization and reception.

Qualifications and Profile

• Trained dental nurse with a qualification from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education).
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to independently manage administration.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Ability to maintain a stable and calm demeanor even when busy.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a sensitive manner.
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 5 and 6.
