Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Torslanda, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with examinations, screenings, and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylactic treatments, onboarding, impression taking, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception
• Managing your own areas of responsibility

We also accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg, which may involve supervising/assisting students as part of the role.

Currently, we have a total of 30 employees. Our opening hours are Mon-Thu 07:00-19:00 and Fri 07:00-16:00. We have 12 treatment rooms and are located in newly built premises near Amhults Resecentrum. Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week XX.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
