Business Description

The operation in Essunga consists of three units: Short-term Operations, Rågvägen, and Care Psychiatry. We are a wonderful team with broad and deep competence in psychiatric and somatic care, working together and purposefully for sustainable development for both our clients and our work environment. Our team consists of nursing assistants, housing supporters, behavioral scientists, educators, nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists, and together we work to make a difference for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

As a social pedagogue with us, you will work to:

• Provide pedagogical and psychosocial support to adults with mental health issues and comorbidity.
• Strengthen the individual's ability for independence and participation in daily life.
• Work with structure, motivation, and social training.
• Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and external actors such as psychiatry and authorities.
• Document according to applicable legislation and the organization's routines.

The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the needs of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an educated social pedagogue or has another equivalent post-secondary education.
• Has experience working in adult psychiatry.
• Has a good ability to create trusting relationships.
• Is confident, responsible, and solution-focused.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience in addiction care, low-affect responses, MI, and documentation habits are meritorious.
