Our organization has transitioned to a first-line social service with a single entry point for citizens, meaning that all cases are initially handled by a common reception unit. After that, investigations and further measures take place in a second line. This approach aims to make social services more accessible and efficient for everyone in need of support. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The family therapists' interventions are offered to families with children and youth aged 0-20 years. Family therapy is based on a systemic perspective and the individual needs of families. You are expected to work both in teams and individually, depending on the nature of the assignment. Work takes place in the family's home, in our facilities, or at other suitable locations. The work is often conducted with the entire family in collaboration with other parties, such as schools and child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).

In our change work, we use various evidence-based methods such as Hanna and Theo, Trappan, Repulse, MI, Marte Meo, and the Circle of Security parenting program.

The family therapists primarily work with assistance decisions granted by social workers from the children and youth group, but also with preventive measures without individual needs assessment (IUB). Within family work, we have a broad competence to best match the needs families have. Our main focus is always to create the best conditions for each family's need for support. As a family therapist, you may work with children of all ages 0-20 years, but you will primarily work with children aged 0-12 years.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another qualification we consider equivalent. It is an advantage if you have basic psychotherapy training focused on systems and families (step 1) and/or training and experience in Marte Meo.

We want you to have several years of documented experience in psychosocial change and/or treatment work directed at children and youth and their families.

We are now looking for two family therapists with a strong commitment and interest in family therapy. You are confident in yourself, have a good ability to meet people in crisis and motivate change. You are flexible in your working methods and can easily see and draw out alternative solutions to emerging problems.

You enjoy working independently but also have good collaboration skills, as the work is done both individually and in close cooperation with other family therapists.

For the position, you must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing, and since travel with a company car is included in the job, a valid driver's license (B) is required.
