Job Responsibilities

The services of escort and relief are provided according to the "Act on Special Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS)."

Escort: You accompany a person who has difficulty going out on their own to activities outside the home. The purpose is to break isolation and provide opportunities for social contacts, culture, and leisure activities. Days and times for escorting are adapted to the individual's needs.
Relief Worker: You relieve family members by temporarily taking over the care of a child/youth in their home. This gives family members time for recovery and their own activities. Days and times for relief are adapted to the individual's needs. Relief usually occurs on weekends and weekday evenings, a few hours per week.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and has a genuine interest in children and youth as a relief worker. You are flexible and confident in yourself, and enjoy creating structure and providing support where needed.

Experience working with people with disabilities or caregiving training or equivalent education is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Employment Form/Conditions

Scope: A few hours per week/month, hourly employment
Compensation: Hourly wage according to the applicable agreement
Location: Vänersborg Municipality
