We are currently looking for a Material Coordinator for the Planning Department of Assembly & Testing at Norrmalmsverkstaden!

A Snapshot of Your Day

You start your day by participating in the assembly's pulse meeting where you report on the current deviations you have been assigned to investigate and listen to how the assembly has progressed over the past day.

The morning continues with you entering some material withdrawals in SAP for materials needed in the coming days. You urgently need to investigate why a Priority 1 delivery that was scheduled for yesterday did not arrive as promised. Here, you need to contact both logistics and purchasing before you manage to track down the delivery.

The rest of the day is spent converting planning orders into production orders in SAP and pulling the first deviation list for an upcoming assembly and then reviewing it. Suddenly, a technician calls and asks you to come out to the assembly to check on a material deviation, so you have to drop what you are doing and head out to the assembly.

Before you go home for the day, you assist and support the planning by reviewing and responding to a delivery time inquiry.

How You Will Make an Impact

Identify and minimize material deviations ahead of upcoming assembly starts. During ongoing assembly, you are the contact person to monitor and chase down answers regarding material deviations that arise urgently.
Manage production orders in SAP, as well as place orders for material requisitions.
Part of your job will involve leading meetings with participants from multiple interfaces, some of which may be conducted in English.
You will participate in daily controls together with our operational activities in the assembly.
Actively work to improve and develop the processes you work in.
Provide support and assistance to your colleagues.
Part of the work may also involve supporting planning tasks related to delivery time inquiries.
