Come and work with us, we are now looking for an additional Assembly Planner for the Planning Department of Assembly & Testing, Norrmalmsverkstaden!

A snapshot of your day

You start the day by participating in the assembly pulse meeting where you listen to how the assembly has progressed over the past day.

The morning continues with reviewing the consequences of a late component for one of our ongoing assemblies; unfortunately, a rescheduling of our timelines is needed, and you work on this and then inform the projects of the impact caused by the delay.

The rest of the day is spent responding to delivery time inquiries for projects currently being quoted to our potential customers.

Before you go home for the day, you have a check-in with your colleagues regarding an upcoming assembly start and you confirm the conditions for this.

How you will impact

• Respond to delivery time inquiries.
• You work daily with assembly and capacity planning both on an operational and strategic horizon.
• Drive impact analyses for changes in material forecasts for both ongoing and upcoming assemblies.
• You keep our customers updated with delivery forecasts and respond to changes from customer needs.
• Manage and work with the new S&OP plans released each month.
• Be involved in driving and developing the work processes related to both the role and the department.
• Follow up and ensure that planning rules and limitations within assembly and testing operations are updated and followed.
• As a planner, you are the hub between assembly and projects.
