ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our client is a global defense and security company active in air, land, and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. Technically, they are leaders in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work with maintenance technical issues in mechanics, hydraulics, electromechanics, and safety materials. The section you will belong to is responsible for providing technical services for maintenance to both military and civilian flight systems.

The tasks consist of technical consulting services to internal and external customers, including:

• Technical investigations
• Analysis of operation and maintenance
• Certification of maintained materials
• Development of modification proposals and maintenance instructions
• Development and provision of testing and maintenance equipment
• Work on both shorter and longer special projects
• Conducting maintenance technical training

The tasks also include providing internal technical support to the maintenance workshop and technical support to the marketing team, for example, in connection with the preparation of quotes and calculations.

The work is carried out both in teams and independently and offers great opportunities for variation and development, both theoretically and practically, within a very broad operational area. There are significant opportunities for development, both within the section and in the company overall, and if interested, you will have the opportunity to travel for work, and possibly even the chance for international assignments.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has a relevant vocational or engineering degree in mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, or service, or equivalent work experience in the field
• Has a technical interest and general technical competence
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

If you have work experience in maintenance or technical documentation within aviation technology, it is highly meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. To fit in and thrive in the role, we see that you have a strong technical interest and enjoy driving your work forward. As you will work with several contact points in different areas, you need to be proactive, respond to technical questions, and make decisions.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
