Ericsson Silicon is looking for an FPGA Verification Engineer to join the team. This role is suited for professionals with 3+ years of FPGA/ASIC verification experience who are ready to take on technical responsibility and contribute to a global organization. You will work with experienced colleagues on high-quality Radio and RAN Compute products for 5G and future 6G systems.

What will you do
- Define and implement verification strategies for FPGA and/or ASIC designs based on functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain verification environments and test cases.
- Execute verification plans and analyze functional and code coverage.
- Analyze simulation results, debug issues, and collaborate with design teams for resolution.
- Maintain and improve regression suites and verification environments.
- Participate in reviews of test plans, test cases, and code.
- Create clear documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Skills you Bring
- Proven experience in FPGA and/or ASIC verification.
- Hands-on experience verifying standard and/or custom IP blocks.
- Strong knowledge of UVM/OVM verification methodologies.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog.
- Experience creating or extending UVM/RTL testbenches and reusing existing verification environments.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Xcelium, VCS, or QuestaSim.
- Experience with coverage-driven verification and debugging.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Tcl, or shell).
- Solid foundation in digital design principles including timing and clock-domain crossing.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Additional merits
- Experience with modern FPGA devices and development tools.
- Exposure to wireless systems, 5G, or SoC verification.
- Understanding of common communication protocols: PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SPI, I2C/I3C, AXI, APB.
