Stockholmshem is one of the country's largest housing companies with nearly 60,000 tenants. For more than 80 years, we have been involved in developing the city and creating homes and residential areas for the people of Stockholm. Stockholmshem is owned by the City of Stockholm. Role Description

Stockholmshem is facing one of its most extensive modernizations of the IT environment in many years. As IT Operations Manager, you will play a central role in shaping how operations will function in a future that moves towards more cloud services, data flows, integrations, and best-of-breed solutions – while the business is entirely dependent on a stable, secure, and well-functioning foundation.

You will enter a hybrid environment where Stockholmshem manages parts of the operations itself and parts are with an outsourced operations partner. There is also property-related technology on a large scale, an in-house server room, and a modern development and management organization. The role serves as a technical hub between internal teams, the operations partner, the City of Stockholm, and the larger transformation projects to be implemented.

You will be part of the IT unit, which currently consists of 12 people, and you will report to the company's IT and Digitalization Manager. You will work from our modern office in Skärholmen, where we operate in a hybrid setup. We also have offices in Hässelby, Solberga, and Skarpnäck.

This is a role for you who want to combine stability and governance with development and decisiveness, and contribute to Stockholmshem taking the next step towards a modern, data-driven, and sustainable IT environment.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Technology & Operations - You will manage the operations for the entire infrastructure – in-house server room, outsourced operations, network, and property-related systems – to ensure availability, security, and stability.

Vendor Management - You will lead the collaboration with the operations partner and technology providers, monitor quality and SLA, and drive improvements and actions.

Architecture & Change - You will be a key person in the transition to modern architecture, best-of-breed, data platforms, integrations, and cloud services.

Collaboration & Projects - You will act as the technical hub in larger system changes and development initiatives, in close dialogue with project leaders, property IT, and the City of Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience in leading IT operations in complex environments • Understanding of hybrid operations – in-house, cloud, and outsourcing • Broad infrastructure competence at a strategic level • Experience in system changes, modernization, and architectural work • Ability to manage vendors and follow up on SLA and quality and changes • Clear and confident communication in technically complex contexts • Desirable: experience in property-related technology and environments with many stakeholders

Brief description of Tech stack: Stockholmshem's hybrid environment includes about 140 servers distributed between an in-house server room and outsourced operations with Vivicta. The environment consists of Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, Veeam for backup, and Starwind HCI for storage. Databases include SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.

Application operations mainly occur in IIS, Apache, and WAMP. The network and security layer is based on firewalls, Infoblox DNS, DHCP, VPN, certificate management, and email security with SPF/DKIM/DMARC.

Property-related IT includes PAC, Aptus, RCO, iLoq, intercom systems, ATA boxes, digital booking, and SCADA. Monitoring and automation are done via Icinga, LibreNMS, Ansible, PowerShell, and PowerCLI.

The architecture is moving from monolithic solutions towards best-of-breed, data platforms, modern integration architecture, and Cloud/SaaS-first.

You apply via the ad link, and due to GDPR, we cannot handle applications that come in via email.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. Stockholmshem's union representative is Johan Sandström, whom you can contact at 08-50839284.
