Responsibilities

As an IT technician within cloud – M365 & Azure, you play a crucial role in ensuring stability, security, and efficiency in their IT services. You work with advanced troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement of customers' cloud and network infrastructures, particularly within Microsoft 365 and Azure. Internally at Norteam, the role is called Senior CloudOps Engineer, and you will become an important knowledge resource and mentor for the CloudOperations team and others within the management and development organization at Norteam.

You have a proactive responsibility to identify and implement improvements in the IT infrastructure, with a special focus on automation and security. You collaborate closely with the CTO to ensure that their services are scalable, efficient, and cost-effective. You also contribute to ensuring the organization's IT environment meets security standards and regulations, and participate in security reviews and threat analysis. You are also expected to contribute to the continuous work on how Norteam packages their products and services towards customers. You keep your ear to the ground and are expected to contribute with environmental analysis and knowledge of new technology.

Below is a selection of tasks you can expect in the role:

• Design, implement, and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 services
• Manage solutions within PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), including Azure VM, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, etc.
• Drive improvement projects within cloud, network, and IT security
• Develop and implement automation solutions for operations and management
• Act as a technical expert and support for IT support and infrastructure teams
• Be responsible for troubleshooting and handling complex technical incidents
• Support security work through security optimization and compliance with policies, e.g., by implementing and managing Azure Policy, RBAC, and Workload Identity Federation
• Collaborate with vendors and partners on technical installations and projects
• Test and evaluate new technical solutions to ensure innovation and development

We are looking for you who

• Have experience with various public cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Hold certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, and AZ-305
• Have experience with M365 solutions such as Intune, security, and identity management
• Have experience with various network solutions
• Have experience in developing and packaging new products & services
• Have experience with Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Have very good Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is also an asset if you have

• Experience with data migration
• Experience with monitoring & alarm handling such as NOC and/or SOC
• Experience with Automation & scripting
• Experience with Certificate Management & PKI
• Experience with ITIL processes, primarily Change Management

You are a senior IT technician with at least five years of experience in driving, developing, and maintaining complex Cloud environments, with a focus on Azure. You are likely the person others turn to for advanced troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement of cloud and network infrastructures. You are self-reliant and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset.

You take great personal responsibility and contribute to continuous improvements within your specialist area. You take initiative, identify tasks & needs for Norteam's customers, and are skilled at structuring and prioritizing your work. We also believe you have a business acumen and holistic view that creates the conditions to not only work technically but also to contribute to the development of Norteam's products & services within Microsoft Cloud.
