JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for engaged and flexible substitutes who can help create a safe and stimulating environment for our students in grades F-6. As a substitute, you may work as a classroom teacher, student resource, or leisure educator, depending on the needs of the organization. Your tasks are varied and involve supporting students in their learning and development both in the classroom and at the after-school center.

In the role of classroom teacher, you are responsible for conducting lessons according to the plan and for creating an inspiring learning environment where students receive the support they need to achieve their goals.

As a student resource, you provide support to individual students with special needs and work to create a safe and inclusive environment for them.

If you work as a leisure educator, you participate in the planning and implementation of leisure activities aimed at stimulating students' creativity and social skills, while also ensuring that their leisure time is safe and meaningful.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with children and youth. You are flexible, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are a secure adult role model who can adapt to different situations and needs. Previous experience working with children or ongoing/completed education in pedagogy is an advantage but not a requirement.
