ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is now looking for several personal assistants who want to work with our client in central Ludvika. We are looking for both those who want to work according to a fixed schedule of approximately 75%, as well as those who want to work as substitutes as needed. There is double assistance throughout the entire work shift, which means that you will always work together with a colleague. You are expected to be able to work both weekdays and weekends.

The working hours are generally scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

• 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM, awake night

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like you to be able to begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a wonderful and cheerful man in his 38s who has Angelman syndrome. He lacks verbal speech and communicates through signs, sounds, and body language. He enjoys traveling by car, bus, train, and cycling. Throwing stones in the water, fishing, bowling, and swimming are some of his favorite activities. He also enjoys watching TV and movies. In addition, he is a true animal lover, especially of cats, dogs, horses, and sheep.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As a person, you should be calm, attentive, pedagogical, and have good patience. Our client can sometimes become outwardly aggressive, so it is advantageous if you have experience with low-arousal approaches. If you have previously worked as a personal assistant or have education in healthcare and social care, that is also an advantage, but not a requirement to apply for the position. The chemistry with the client and your colleagues is the most important.

REQUIREMENTS

• Allergic to pets

• Can tolerate claws and is a good swimmer

• Good knowledge of Swedish spoken and written

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working with epilepsy and/or experience with low-arousal approaches

• Manual driving license

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
