Physiotherapist with a focus on women's health and pelvic floor

Obstetrics and Gynecology

The department includes obstetric and gynecological inpatient care, maternity ward, gynecological clinic, midwifery clinic, and youth clinic with a total of about 80 employees.

Within the department, nursing assistants, midwives, doctors, nurses, and social workers work with patients who have various gynecological needs, ranging from examinations and treatments to various questions and investigations of different conditions or complaints.

The Position

The position is a project employment aimed at ensuring that the implementation of the national guidelines for pelvic floor dysfunction is reviewed. The goal includes a more coherent care chain, local anchoring of the guidelines so that they fit existing operations, and organizing multiprofessional collaboration.

Your Responsibilities

In your role as a physiotherapist, you will work clinically with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.

In addition to the clinical work as a physiotherapist, you will lead the implementation and follow-up of national guidelines.

You will mentor and teach colleagues and other professionals, as well as work on coordinating and developing working methods in multiprofessional teams. You will work within all units of the department.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with advanced competence in women's health and pelvic floor who wants to combine clinical work with a clear mandate in organizational development. The role includes project management of development and implementation work related to national guidelines.

You are a licensed physiotherapist with clinical experience in women's health, obstetrics, and gynecology, as well as experience working in multiprofessional teams. You also have qualified further education in pelvic floor.

We consider it an advantage if you have specialist competence as a physiotherapist in a relevant area. Experience in organizational development, project management, or improvement work, as well as mentoring and teaching colleagues and other professionals, is also advantageous.

You have the ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, and you work evidence-based and in accordance with national guidelines.

You are confident in your professional role, work independently, and have a good ability to make qualified assessments and plan and implement evidence-based treatment interventions for pelvic floor issues.
