Do you want to work in a technically advanced and socially important IT environment where stability, security, and availability are the focus? We are now looking for two senior network engineers for a long-term consulting assignment within network infrastructure and data communication.

You will step into the role of infrastructure specialist and become a key player in the management, further development, and operation of complex network environments with high demands on reliability and security. The assignment is a temporary position for a colleague on parental leave, but with good opportunities for extension.

In this assignment, you will work with routing and switching environments in a larger, distributed network infrastructure that encompasses multiple sites and thousands of users. You will collaborate closely with operations, management, and monitoring functions and contribute both operationally and strategically throughout the network's lifecycle.

• 🚨 Incident and problem management – analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in close collaboration with 24/7 monitoring

• 🧠 Specialist role – act as a technical expert and support for the business, systems, and external parties

• 🔄 Change and improvement work – carry out orders, changes, and upgrades according to established IT processes

• 📐 Requirements and solution design – contribute to technical requirements specification and development of new or further developed network solutions

• 🧪 Testing – participate in functional testing and verification during troubleshooting and further development

• 📄 Documentation – ensure updated network diagrams, system documentation, and operational routines

• 🔐 IT security – work with security issues to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability

You are an independent and structured network engineer with several years of experience from larger IT environments. You thrive in a specialist role where quality, collaboration, and responsibility are central parts of everyday life.

• At least 2–5 years of experience as a network engineer

• Experience from medium to large network environments

• At least 2 years of experience in high availability environments

• At least one valid certification: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

• Two or more relevant network certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or similar)

• Experience in network automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, Catalyst Center)

• Practical experience in lifecycle management of central infrastructure

• Experience working in environments with classified or security-sensitive information

• Scope: Full-time 100%

• Location: Sundbyberg (hybrid work format)

• Assignment period: March 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with an option for extension of 1 + 1 year

• Security clearance: Required (including background check)
