About the role

As a solution specialist in IT Delivery Refinery, you will be a central part of Preem's department, which supports the business through the management of both external and internal systems. The department, linked to Asset Management, works cross-functionally to promote efficiency and innovation.

You will work with Maximo, their central maintenance system for asset management, and participate in upgrades and development in close collaboration with the business. Your work also includes support within investment projects and in-house developed systems related to projects and reliability.

The role is a permanent position located in Lysekil or Gothenburg, with the possibility of hybrid work and travel required for the job.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will coordinate and participate in the development of Maximo and related applications. You will work closely with the business, system administrators, and developers to develop and evaluate solution proposals based on the business's requirements and needs. Your contribution is crucial for Preem's continued development and transition towards a greener future.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the external environment and translating opportunities into potential solutions.
• Enhancing the competence within the business.
• Ensuring that Preem has a functioning support function, including managing incidents as 2nd line support.
• Acting as the client for all of the team's .NET systems and coordinating the development related to these.
• Listening to the business's needs and transforming them into clear requirements.
• Defining how the requirements should be implemented by the developers and ensuring that all needs are met.
• Supporting testing and validation of the systems as well as streamlining .NET processes.

Do you have this background?

We are looking for an IT specialist with relevant education from university or vocational school and experience in system management or system development. You should have worked with maintenance systems for assets, such as IBM Maximo, and have experience with expansion projects and renovations. A good understanding of .NET, databases, and SQL is also important.

A valid driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are necessary.

Desirable experiences include:

• Experience working according to agile methods and frameworks.
• Understanding of processes and lifecycle management of assets.
• Experience with portfolio management systems and product management systems.
