Application Tester at the County Administrative Boards' IT Department
The IT department of the County Administrative Boards is in an exciting development phase where digitization, innovative solutions, and security and preparedness issues are in focus. Our IT environment is extensive and varied, encompassing everything from modern infrastructure to systems that we develop ourselves. The operations of the County Administrative Boards are broad and operate in areas that are highly relevant in today's society. Digitization is a strong driving force for the County Administrative Boards, where IT often plays a key role in realizing needs.
The IT department of the County Administrative Boards is national and works for all 21 County Administrative Boards in Sweden.
Job Responsibilities
As an application tester, you will work according to our established testing process and testing strategy.
You will conduct system tests for changes in existing systems, integration tests, and acceptance tests of the entire implementation. You will also participate in the work of developing methods, tools, and documentation standards for testing work within the unit.
In assignments and projects, you may both lead and participate in the work of developing test cases and test protocols related to requirements and design specifications. Packaging relevant test documents for handover to the operations and management organization is also part of the role, along with follow-up and reporting of test results.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the department, such as test leaders, management leaders, and project managers. You belong to a team where team spirit and collaboration are important, and in assignments, you work together with engaged and available colleagues. Our unit, Application Support, is responsible for the development and management of systems, integrations, and application platforms. We are building tomorrow's management and development organization where strong teams lead, drive, and deliver IT support to the missions of the County Administrative Boards.
The location is Gothenburg. We offer flexible work with good opportunities for remote work part of the time.
Qualifications
You have:
- Post-secondary education in IT, preferably with a focus on testing
- Experience working with testing and test management within projects in a government agency
- Experience and competence in testing from the systems development area.

The salary level for the position is between 31,000 SEK and 34,000 SEK per month.
The employment is temporary for six months with immediate start.
