JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The housing support is an educational support for those who have a mental, intellectual, or neuropsychiatric disability or an addiction. We work together with other outpatient care in areas such as harmful use and addiction, as well as children and family. Within outpatient care, there is close cooperation to best meet the needs of the client.

As a housing supporter, you perform both social and practical support measures to strengthen and support individuals in their daily lives, both inside and outside the home, all based on solution focus and a low-arousal approach. The goal is to contribute to a recovery process for the individual, who in the long run should become as independent as possible. The assignment may involve providing support and guidance in performing various tasks at home.

The housing support must be flexible and designed with consideration to the individual's changing needs based on the individual’s implementation plan.

Daily work includes home visits, phone contact, and documentation in the operational system Combine.

You collaborate with both internal and external actors to achieve good results that are beneficial and developing for the client.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an education in treatment pedagogy/social pedagogy or alternatively a nursing assistant or caregiver. Experience in the profession is meritorious.

You take the initiative and familiarize yourself with your workplace's goals, contribute ideas, and drive the work forward. You have a pleasant demeanor and always focus on the individual. You are attentive to others' needs and are understanding and helpful.

A valid B driver's license is required.
