Responsibilities

To provide support and service according to the individual needs and wishes of the user according to implementation plans. You will perform everyday, planned support measures and activities together with the user. The support measures should promote the user's integrity, participation, and are performed with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs should be at the center, and the person's views should be actively taken into account. The user should receive support and the right to decide over their life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the user's network and other staff.

The responsibilities also include habilitation, IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

Care and nursing program or other education that provides nursing assistant competence and good computer skills. The position requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and independence. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

For work with children and young people up to 18 years, an extract from the criminal record is required.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title, and one must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.

To be employed, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record (form 442.3 – control of own data according to § 9, 1st paragraph). You must have passing grades in Swedish.

A driving license is required.
