The job involves supporting, developing, and activating individuals who need our assistance in their daily lives. You can work with children or adults who have intellectual, physical, or mental disabilities.

Job Responsibilities

As a summer substitute with us, you will have a varied and social job where you become an important link in the daily life of the person you support. You will work with one individual, providing support in the areas of life that they find difficult to manage independently. The goal is for each person to have a rich and meaningful everyday life. In personal assistance, you perform the work in the individual's home, often alone. You always focus on the individual's needs and help them use and develop their own abilities. Examples of tasks include:

• Assistance with personal care – such as dressing and undressing
• Assistance with personal hygiene – such as showering and using the toilet
• Service tasks – such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping
• Social activities – such as walks and outings

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and a positive attitude. You can work independently but also enjoy collaborating with others. Furthermore, we appreciate if you are responsible, attentive, and can take your own initiatives. Personal suitability is the most important factor for us!

It is a plus if you have training as a personal assistant, nursing assistant, have completed a child and leisure program, or have other relevant education with a pedagogical or social focus, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience in care and support is an advantage.

You need to be able to speak, read, and write in Swedish as you will communicate with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as write notes.

You must be at least 18 years old, and some workplaces require a B driver's license.

Good to Know

We are looking for summer substitutes for the vacation period between week 25 and 34. As a summer substitute, you can work full-time or by agreement during the day, evening, or night, both weekdays and weekends. We prefer that you can work at least six weeks in a row during the summer. We apply language tests in the recruitment process.

If you do a good job, you have the chance for continued work even in the fall, perfect for those of you who are studying!

When applying, you will indicate which weeks you can work and which geographical areas you can work in. Keep in mind that you need to be able to get to and from the workplace on your own. We will try to match your preferences, but it may be guided by the needs of the area.

To work with us, you must submit an approved extract from the police criminal record. Order this on the police's website at the same time as you submit your application. Use the form "Control of your own information". If you become a candidate for a position, the extract must be submitted in an unopened envelope.
