What the Job Entails

Our 15-year-old boy lives with his parents and siblings in Jönköping. He has extensive needs for support, assistance, and help in his daily life. Tasks involved in the role include personal care, medication administration, tube feeding, and assisting with various activities. Sometimes, more medical care is required, which demands your attention and ability to interpret signals and detect changes in his well-being.

As an assistant, you need to be proactive and come up with activities that stimulate and engage him. Since he does not have verbal communication, it is important that you are attentive and responsive to the signals he conveys in other ways.

Your workplace will be wherever the client is, whether at home, school, short-term care facilities, or during activities such as swimming.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is calm, attentive, and creative. You should be able to take initiative and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. To ensure a good fit with the family, good judgment, integrity, and respect are essential.

There will be double assistance on weekends, but you should also feel comfortable working independently. To be considered for the position, you must be smoke-free, able to communicate fluently in Swedish, and not allergic to cats or chlorine, as there are pets in the home and swimming is part of the activities.

We prefer candidates with previous experience as a personal assistant, in caregiving, or in educational settings. Your personal qualities and compatibility with our client are highly valued.
