The Social Services' individual and family care (IFO) is organizationally divided into three units: the unit for Children and Youth, the unit for Adults, and the unit for Open Care.

The Open Care unit consists of family therapists, field secretaries, adult therapists, a counselor at the family center, and an upcoming SSPF coordinator. The unit operates under the IFO manager.

We are now looking for a family therapist/parent supporter as one of our employees is taking on new challenges.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The family treatment works with children and youth aged 0-20 years and their families. We work closely with other areas of social services as well as with other partners. The assessed support measures are carried out on behalf of social workers in the Children and Youth unit.

We also engage in preventive work in the form of parent support, both individually and in groups. Parent support groups are offered regularly.

External supervision is provided approximately once a month. The group meets once a week for internal supervision, information sharing, updates from the manager, planning, and more.

We work both individually and in teams depending on the nature of our assignments. Some evening work is included.

QUALIFICATIONS

Social worker or equivalent education.
