We offer an inspiring job with a man in his 20s. The man lives in Stenstorp in part of his mother's house but will be moving to his own house during the year. The work is located both at home in Stenstorp and at a daily activity center in Falköping.

The position involves work during the day, evening, and weekends, as well as overnight shifts in the future.

As part of Novum Assistans, you will be involved as an employee through regular workplace meetings where the development of assignments takes place. Who are you as an applicant? We are looking for someone who has personal suitability for the assignment; you are cheerful, positive, structured, and proactive while also having the ability to work in a low-arousal manner. It is also desirable that you have good physical fitness.

The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work. The goal is for the man to feel joy and a sense of belonging that affects his experience of quality of life.

It is important that you are punctual but at the same time flexible to sometimes step in to cover gaps in staffing. We see that you are a confident person and enjoy taking initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others in a group.

• A driving license is required

• Good Swedish in speech and writing is required

• Experience with clear pedagogical methods and alternative and augmentative communication is an advantage

Your tasks include supporting the man in his work at the daily activity center, physiotherapy, personal care, and alternative and augmentative communication since the man does not have spoken language. Your tasks also include coming up with and accompanying him on leisure activities. His interests are music, animals, trains, and driving. As the man has access to a car that gives him great freedom, we primarily seek assistants with a driving license. In the assignment, you will work both alone and together with a colleague.

About the employment

Working hours vary between: day, evening, overnight, and weekends.

The position is a permanent employment as long as the assignment lasts.

We are also looking for substitute workers who work hourly.

We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensation according to collective agreements.

About the recruitment

The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment will be provided at a potential interview. Start date will be agreed upon. For employment with Novum Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.
