About the position

We at Olivia Personal Assistance are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant on an as-needed basis for our client in Vittskövle, south of Kristianstad and Åhus.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute when regular assistants are absent due to vacation or illness. You need to be flexible to work on short notice.

The client is only seeking female assistants by her side.

Working hours are scheduled as follows on weekdays and weekends:

• 06:00 AM - 11:00 AM

• 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM

Start date is according to agreement, and we hope you can begin training relatively soon.

About the client

The client is a young woman in her late teens with a muscle disease and intellectual disability. She uses a manual wheelchair and electric wheelchair for mobility and needs the assistant's support with everything in daily life.

She is an active and cheerful girl who loves animals and has her own dog that she takes for walks. She also enjoys reading, crafting, dancing, swimming, and being outdoors when the weather permits.

Job responsibilities include, among others:

• Support with daily routines and household chores

• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

• Accompanying on daily activities

• Handling assistive devices

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are calm and secure in your demeanor and clear in your communication. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Since our client has a dog, it is important that you feel comfortable and safe around dogs. It is an advantage if you live in the local area considering the early morning shifts.

Requirements:

• Driver's license and access to your own car for easy transportation to the client

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

• You are a good swimmer and comfortable in the water and can tolerate chlorine

• Not allergic to pets, as there is a dog in the home

• Comfortable being around dogs

Employment level: 1 position as a substitute as needed.

Start date: According to agreement but with the possibility of immediate start. Selection will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
