French and English Teacher Wanted at Stenstalidskolan

Stenstalidskolan is a K-9 school that, together with Strandskolan K-3 and Ölmeskolan K-6, forms the northern school area. An adapted primary school is also available here. Facilities and playgrounds are divided into K-3, 4-6, and 7-9, where each stage has its naturally defined area with space for play and creativity. Together, we work for students' right to a good education, and the staff is the most important resource of the organization.

The municipality of Kristinehamn has about 24,000 inhabitants and is located by the shores of Lake Vänern in Värmland. Here, there is a good business climate, a rich cultural and leisure life, and access to beautiful archipelago and nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a language teacher with us, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching for students in grades 7-9. We expect you to actively work to spark and develop students' interest in French and English, both theoretically and practically. You are expected to ensure that the teaching follows the school's curriculum and is adapted to the students' different needs and conditions.

You will work together with other educators in the team to ensure that the organization develops so that each student is given the best possible conditions for development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek someone who has a teaching certification with qualifications in French and English, but we also welcome those who have ongoing education or experience in the field. It is an advantage if you are well acquainted with the school's curricula.

As a language teacher in the middle school with us, you take responsibility for your work, create good relationships with students and colleagues, and have good collaboration skills. You are a clear and secure leader in the classroom who motivates our students.

It is important that you have a pedagogical approach and an understanding of students' different conditions for acquiring knowledge.
