JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a driven, unpretentious, and collaborative employee who focuses on developing teaching and working to benefit students' learning. We start from the holistic idea that health and learning support each other, where you are expected to contribute to the school's student health work of a promotional and preventive nature, focusing on accessible learning environments and language and knowledge-developing approaches.

You will be part of a special education team together with a special educator and additional special teachers. The close collaboration with teachers as well as with the school's student health team and other colleagues is a fundamental prerequisite in your work where students' learning is prioritized. The work involves actively working with colleagues to develop teaching so that it is accessible to all students. You apply a student-centered approach aimed at strengthening the student's participation in their own learning.

We are looking for someone who systematically works for accessible learning and thereby makes visible demands on teaching and the design of the learning environment. As a special teacher at Götetorp, you will be responsible for mapping and teaching students through support activities based on identified needs and conditions. Together with teachers, you are responsible for designing and implementing measures based on mapped needs, as well as documenting, following up, and evaluating action programs.

You work evidence-based with methods and approaches and have a good ability to identify, plan, implement, and analyze measures that benefit students' development and learning at the individual, group, and organizational levels. We use the documentation system Prorenata. You are a collaborative and unpretentious leader with practical experience in mentoring and supporting colleagues in teaching situations as well as outside the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified special teacher and authorized primary school teacher.

You have experience working with pedagogical mappings, mapping tools, investigations of special support, and action programs. You possess in-depth knowledge of students' learning and development and can apply and critically review methods for assessing development. You focus on the pedagogical use of digital tools and have good knowledge of compensatory aids for increased autonomy and equitable learning.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of disabilities that can affect learning and how to compensate for them. In addition to knowledge in language-developing work, we would also like you to have knowledge of how to meet students' mathematical challenges.

With a flexible and consistently positive attitude, you contribute to a favorable working environment, for both students and colleagues. You are structured and meticulous, confident and independent, with a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work preventively and with a focus on collaborative learning, and you are happy to share your knowledge. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement.
