We are now looking for a teacher in mathematics and science subjects (technology, physics, and biology) for Minneberg School in Arvika. Minneberg School is a newly built secondary school located in the city center of Arvika. The school is designed to meet each student's needs and offers safe learning environments with space for recovery, community, and relationship-building. With us, safety and trust are the foundation for learning.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Teaching certification and eligibility in mathematics and/or science subjects (technology, physics, biology).
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good digital competence and experience working with digital tools in teaching.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Previous experience in mentorship.
• Experience working relationally with students in need of extra support.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in mathematics and science at Minneberg School, you will:

• Be a mentor for a group of students in grades 7-9.
• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in mathematics and science subjects.
• Work with assessment, documentation, individual development plans, and evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in the team regarding students' learning and development.

We work in a Google environment, and all students have access to their own Chromebook.
