Do you have a great interest in cooking and learning? We are now looking for a substitute vocational teacher for the restaurant and food program who wants to inspire and educate the next generation of chefs and food experts.

Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher in the restaurant and food program, you will plan and conduct lessons that engage students and strengthen their practical skills. You provide individual guidance and support to students to help them reach their full potential in the industry.

Your role includes coordinating practical components, which involves collaborations with local restaurants and internships to give students real experiences. You actively participate in the school's development work and contribute to a positive learning environment through your pedagogical skills and leadership abilities. Additionally, you promote collaboration and teamwork among students to create strong relationships and a sense of community within the program.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged and has a genuine interest in developing students' knowledge.

You are a trained chef with experience working in restaurant kitchens. If you have also held a supervisory role, we consider that an advantage. We prefer that you are a qualified vocational teacher with certification in Cooking Courses 1-4 and specialization.

You are self-driven and can work independently while taking the initiative to drive teaching forward. You have strong collaboration skills and enjoy building relationships with both students and colleagues, contributing to an inspiring learning environment. Your pedagogical skills give you a good understanding of different methods and allow you to adapt teaching to meet each student's needs. Additionally, you are a natural leader who takes responsibility for guiding and motivating students, creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.

The position is a substitute for the spring term of 2026. We see a need for competence in the program moving forward and will likely seek additional staff for the autumn term.
